Shipping outside the US

We ship decorated glassware to 37 countries. Here is what to expect before you order.

Order minimum

International orders start at $250 of product, before setup and delivery. Below that we can’t ship overseas — email hello@flintandamber.com and we’ll see what we can do.

Duty, import tax and clearance fees are yours

We ship duties unpaid. The price you pay us covers the pieces, the decoration, protective packing and the carriage. It does not include your country’s import duty or tax, or the carrier’s customs clearance fee.

The carrier bills you for those directly, usually before or on delivery. Amounts vary by country and we can’t quote them for you — your own customs authority can.

Please don’t refuse the parcel. Your names and artwork are printed on every piece, so we can’t resell a refused order and we can’t refund one. If the border bill is a surprise or looks wrong, email us and we’ll help you sort it out with the carrier.

How delivery is priced

For most pieces, checkout prices the delivery live against our carrier account and shows you the cost before you pay. Everything overseas travels by air — there is no ground service across an ocean — so delivery on glassware is a real part of the cost rather than an afterthought.

For some pieces we quote delivery by hand. Those have carton sizes we haven’t measured yet, and air freight is charged on volume as well as weight, so we’d rather send you a real number than an estimate that moves. You’ll see that on the checkout page, and the cost comes with your proof — before anything is charged or printed.

Proofs and returns

Every order gets a proof before anything prints, and we’ll revise it as many times as you need. Because each piece is decorated for you, custom orders can’t be returned or exchanged — that applies everywhere, and it’s why the proof matters.

If something arrives broken, the terms are the same as at home: Returns & damage. Photograph it in the box, keep the packing, and email us. Overseas parcels pass through more hands and take longer, so tell us as soon as you can.

Payment

Card payments in US dollars. Your bank may add its own currency conversion. Payment plans (Klarna, Afterpay, Affirm) are US-only and won’t appear at checkout on an overseas address.
